We specialize in the production of rotationally molded plastic parts and components for a diverse range of industries including automotive, aerospace, consumer goods, and more. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a talented Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations and drive efficiency and excellence in production processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand while optimizing resource utilization and minimizing lead times.
  • Manage day-to-day production activities, including monitoring production processes, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as engineering, maintenance, and logistics, to ensure smooth production operations and timely delivery of products.
  • Lead and motivate a team of production staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Implement and maintain safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements to create a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Drive initiatives to improve productivity, reduce waste, and optimize efficiency through the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute strategies for meeting production goals, reducing costs, and enhancing overall operational performance.
  • Monitor production processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to reduce scrap and rework.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to develop and implement solutions to improve productivity and meet production targets.
  • Monitor employee attendance and performance. Maintain accurate records of staff issues, including call-ins, performance concerns, and disciplinary actions.
  • Promote a culture of safety and cleanliness. Educate and direct personnel on the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), control points, and equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Promptly report equipment issues and coordinate with the maintenance team to schedule repairs, minimizing downtime and disruptions to production
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred
